Job Requirements

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred
Culinary experience or fine dining experience is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
Familiarity with guest services principles and hospitality best practices
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential
Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
Operate point-of-sale systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations following sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Uphold food safety standards during all aspects of food handling and preparation
