Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • valid US driver’s license
  • minimum age of twenty-one years
  • capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status
  • minimum two years of experience in foodservice
  • cleaning experience
  • exceptional organizational skills
  • knowledge of foodservice regulations

Job Duties

  • Coordinates food preparation including warming frozen foods and setting up tables before mealtime
  • maintains food inventory and informs Director of Business Operations when inventory is low
  • serves lunches to students while monitoring food temperature
  • cleans kitchen area by mopping, dusting, and organizing
  • maintains cleanliness of staff break room
  • cleans refrigerators and disposes of unclaimed items
  • communicates between school and food vendor regarding dietary needs and restrictions
