Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred
  • Culinary experience or fine dining experience is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with guest services principles and hospitality best practices
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as toast POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations following sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
  • Uphold food safety standards during all aspects of food handling and preparation
