Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work full-time
  • basic math skills for cash handling

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry
  • strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • excellent time management skills
  • basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
  • familiarity with guest services principles including hospitality best practices
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • experience as a host or in guest relations is a plus
  • knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly
  • prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
  • operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable to process orders efficiently
  • assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces
  • handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests
  • uphold food safety standards during all stages of food handling and preparation
