Job Requirements

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Stand and move within kitchen area for 6 to 7 hours excluding breaks
Ability to bend and stoop for cleaning duties
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
High school diploma or GED

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under direct supervision
Reliable and detail-oriented
Ability to assist with customer service tasks
Knowledge of basic sanitation and food handling procedures

Job Duties

Maintain good housekeeping practices for the dining facility
Sweep and mop floors
Clean woodwork, walls, windows, tables, and serving equipment
Wash dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking vessels and utensils
Perform bussing services and ensure condiments and napkins are refilled
Remove trash and garbage ensuring recyclables are separated and placed correctly
Unload subsistence and supply trucks and procure storage
Clean restrooms, entrance areas, dining room, and surrounding areas including back dock
Serve customers on hot-bar or deli-bar lines as directed
Prepare and serve cold cut sandwiches, wrap pastries, serve on the serving line, prepare salad bar items
Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Sanitation Specialist Leader or Manager on duty
