Job Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand and move within kitchen area for 6 to 7 hours excluding breaks
- Ability to bend and stoop for cleaning duties
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED
Job Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under direct supervision
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Ability to assist with customer service tasks
- Knowledge of basic sanitation and food handling procedures
Job Duties
- Maintain good housekeeping practices for the dining facility
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean woodwork, walls, windows, tables, and serving equipment
- Wash dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking vessels and utensils
- Perform bussing services and ensure condiments and napkins are refilled
- Remove trash and garbage ensuring recyclables are separated and placed correctly
- Unload subsistence and supply trucks and procure storage
- Clean restrooms, entrance areas, dining room, and surrounding areas including back dock
- Serve customers on hot-bar or deli-bar lines as directed
- Prepare and serve cold cut sandwiches, wrap pastries, serve on the serving line, prepare salad bar items
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Sanitation Specialist Leader or Manager on duty
