Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of foodservice sales experience and/or culinary/restaurant management preferred
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet client needs
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to analyze territory and develop strategic sales plans

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 6-12 months sales, marketing and/or restaurant experience
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Generate additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers
  • sample products with existing and potential customers
  • plan general sales strategy including time and territory management
  • plan sales approach with individual customers
  • conduct effective sales presentations
  • grow sales and profit margins to meet established sales and margin goals
  • set up new customer accounts by determining pricing and coordinating with credit and order personnel
  • perform follow-up ensuring delivery and product satisfaction
  • provide exemplary customer service by coordinating with center personnel to prevent and resolve problems
  • make deliveries in emergency situations if necessary
  • build additional business through product penetration to maximize profitability
  • monitor accounts receivable for compliance with credit terms and follow up on issues
  • maintain awareness of pricing trends within sales territory
  • perform other related duties as assigned
