Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a college student
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for less than four hours
- Willingness to engage in various physical movements such as bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching and reaching
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- No domestic travel required
- Ability to adhere to safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college
- Strong interest in the food industry
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Basic knowledge of food safety principles preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Comfortable working in a professional office environment
Job Duties
- Provide updates to standardized training for raw material and ingredient related tasks
- Create a library for all plant level Shelf Life and challenge studies
- Gain awareness of collaboration between functional areas and networking with operations
- Develop diligence related to food safety and quality in the food industry
- Attend staff meetings
- Help build processes and participate in QA events
- Work on tasks to improve knowledge
- Shadow QA Supervisors and assist with tasks
- Complete projects including SOP updates, Food Defense updates, Food Safety Culture, and Sensory Training
- Validate Band-Aids and Metal Detectors
- Complete assigned projects
