Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a college student
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for less than four hours
  • Willingness to engage in various physical movements such as bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching and reaching
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • No domestic travel required
  • Ability to adhere to safety and quality standards

  • Strong interest in the food industry
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Basic knowledge of food safety principles preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
  • Comfortable working in a professional office environment

Job Duties

  • Provide updates to standardized training for raw material and ingredient related tasks
  • Create a library for all plant level Shelf Life and challenge studies
  • Gain awareness of collaboration between functional areas and networking with operations
  • Develop diligence related to food safety and quality in the food industry
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Help build processes and participate in QA events
  • Work on tasks to improve knowledge
  • Shadow QA Supervisors and assist with tasks
  • Complete projects including SOP updates, Food Defense updates, Food Safety Culture, and Sensory Training
  • Validate Band-Aids and Metal Detectors
  • Complete assigned projects
