Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ability to work in cold environments and lift/push a minimum of 25 lbs
- previous experience in food industry and quality assurance preferred
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- ability to create and maintain trending charts and SOPs
- skilled in using calculators, weight scales, thermometers, metal detectors, ATP testing equipment, and food processing equipment
- previous experience in food industry and quality assurance strongly preferred
- strong mathematical, analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and act as a liaison for supervisors
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain and update all recordkeeping and key performance indicators related to the Quality Department and GQS
- Ensure adherence to FDA, USDA, and local health department regulations through daily monitoring and verification activities
- Conduct daily checks on Good Manufacturing Practices, cooler and freezer temperatures, and HACCP documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Perform environmental swabs and microbiological sampling
- coordinate with local laboratories for timely analysis
- Obtain and evaluate Chef Table samples to confirm compliance with product specifications
- Assist the Quality Manager in delivering targeted training programs and initiatives to improve quality, food safety, and sanitation processes
- Conduct workstation inspections, portion control checks, and dispatch/galley/equipment audits to ensure compliance with gold standards and specifications
