Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree required
  • minimum 5 years FSQA leadership experience in food manufacturing
  • must have USDA meat experience
  • PCQI certified
  • HACCP certified
  • knowledgeable in GFSI standards including SQF
  • ability to manage multiple sites
  • strong leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field
  • minimum of 5 years leadership experience in food safety and quality assurance within food manufacturing
  • proven expertise in USDA meat regulations
  • certified PCQI and HACCP professional
  • thorough knowledge of GFSI standards such as SQF, BRC, or FSSC22000
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience managing multi-site operations

Job Duties

  • oversee food safety and quality assurance operations across multiple sites
  • lead and manage FSQA teams to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence
  • develop and implement robust food safety programs and audit processes
  • coordinate and prepare for regulatory inspections and certifications
  • collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality
  • analyze audit results and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards
  • report to senior leadership on FSQA performance and compliance status
