Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food safety or sanitation preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- ability to train and mentor staff
- capable of working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency using tablet technology for documentation
- physical ability to perform inspections and audits
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- passed or able to pass ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Manager certifications
- ability to conduct professional coaching and counseling that results in measurable improvements
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
- must be professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others
- comfortable with using tablet computers
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Conduct daily sanitation audits
- perform walk-throughs of restaurants
- regularly inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with health department and company policies
- continually monitor cleanliness and organization of all units
- monitor and audit proper utilization of personal protective equipment
- lead and mentor staff with on-the-job training
- ensure necessary documentation is completed including temperature logs and cleaning checklists
- regularly audit alcohol locations for adherence to identification procedures
- serve as primary contact for health board and audit inspectors
- report maintenance issues and collaborate with Maintenance Department
- attend weekly maintenance meetings
- comply with all Six Flags policies
