Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food safety or sanitation preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • ability to train and mentor staff
  • capable of working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency using tablet technology for documentation
  • physical ability to perform inspections and audits

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • passed or able to pass ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Manager certifications
  • ability to conduct professional coaching and counseling that results in measurable improvements
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
  • must be professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others
  • comfortable with using tablet computers
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Conduct daily sanitation audits
  • perform walk-throughs of restaurants
  • regularly inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with health department and company policies
  • continually monitor cleanliness and organization of all units
  • monitor and audit proper utilization of personal protective equipment
  • lead and mentor staff with on-the-job training
  • ensure necessary documentation is completed including temperature logs and cleaning checklists
  • regularly audit alcohol locations for adherence to identification procedures
  • serve as primary contact for health board and audit inspectors
  • report maintenance issues and collaborate with Maintenance Department
  • attend weekly maintenance meetings
  • comply with all Six Flags policies
