Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage manufacturing
  • 8+ years of food safety and quality experience
  • HACCP certification
  • PCQI certification
  • experience coaching and training personnel
  • ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of food regulations and standards
  • strong leadership skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • experience with GFSI standards
  • strategic thinking ability

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food sciences, microbiology, science, engineering, or related fields
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage manufacturing
  • 8+ years of food safety and quality experience
  • HACCP certification
  • PCQI certification
  • knowledge of beverage manufacturing processes including emulsification, blending, carbonation, filling, water treatment, packaging, cleaning, and sanitation
  • expertise in food safety and ability to address contamination risks
  • strong understanding of thermal processing and aseptic techniques
  • knowledge of quality principles and problem-solving tools
  • expert understanding of applicable food regulations such as FSMA, cGMP, HACCP
  • experience developing and maintaining food safety plans, SSOPs, SOPs
  • strong auditing and assessment skills
  • strong leadership skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change
  • excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently across multiple projects
  • experience with GFSI standards and global quality and food safety deployment
  • strategic mindset for ongoing transformation

Job Duties

  • Drive quality and food safety initiatives through direct support with plants
  • monitor, report and improve quality and food safety performance in supported plants
  • coach and train plant personnel to develop leadership, technical competence and effectively utilize system tools
  • establish and maintain communication with support plants and sector quality
  • develop programs and tools to monitor and drive continuous improvement
  • support the development of the quality and food safety strategy for Pepsi bottlers
  • align market units, divisions, and plant departments on quality and food safety initiatives when applicable
