Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, quality assurance or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards including SQF
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Quality Management Systems
- Ability to train and lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Experience in managing internal and external audits
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies

Job Duties
- Ensure alignment with Divisional and DFA Corporate FSQR governance as required
- Partner with Retort Solutions Divisional business unit stakeholders to identify, design, and implement improvements and enhancements to the existing programs
- Support management of change initiatives as warranted
- Identify key issue trends and monitor plant CAPAs and complaints with cross-plant divisional impact and track to closure
- Maintain Divisional level NC/CAPA database for trend analysis, continuous improvement, and verification of effectiveness
- Collaborate to align problem solving tools and support training with plant teams
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute tactical plans to advance FSQ programs while minimizing business disruption
- Trend and report results from Regulatory, customer and third party audits
- Manage relationship with SQF certifying body
- Develop and support a cross-functional Divisional internal audit program and provide training and materials
- Partner with Divisional resources to improve Customer Supplier Quality and maintain compliance
- Work with Continuous Improvement and Quality Systems to deliver value by KPI reporting and trend analysis
- Prioritize and drive focused FSQ improvement efforts
- Develop and improve Plant Quality Programs such as EMP and Sanitation
- Promote harmonization and compliance to corporate and divisional policies
- Provide adhoc site backup to Plant Quality Managers
- Perform other duties as assigned
