Job Duties

  • Transport dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely and organized manner, ensuring that orders are accurately delivered
  • collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to maintain clear communication about order statuses, special requests, and any other relevant information
  • coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure that all components of a meal are ready for delivery simultaneously, maintaining the overall flow of service
  • inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and overall quality before delivering them to customers
  • report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel
  • provide excellent customer service by being attentive to customers' needs, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner
  • assist in clearing empty plates and utensils from tables, resetting them for new diners, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the dining area
  • collaborate with servers, chefs, and other restaurant staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
  • familiarize yourself with the menu to accurately describe dishes and assist customers with inquiries
