Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior room service or food and beverage experience preferred
  • Must hold or be able to obtain Food and Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years prior room service experience preferred
  • Some knowledge of wine and fine food helpful
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Food and Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction

Job Duties

  • Deliver meals and beverages to guest rooms in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy of orders and presentation meets hotel standards
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests during room service interactions
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and other departments to coordinate orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service equipment and areas
  • Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols related to food service
