Job Duties

  • monitor and coordinate the preparation and delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • inspect dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation guidelines before they are served to guests
  • verify that each order is complete and correct, including any special requests or dietary restrictions
  • act as a liaison between the back-of-house and front-of-house, communicating any delays, changes, or issues with orders
  • assist servers and kitchen staff as needed, including running food, clearing plates, and restocking supplies
  • maintain a clean and organized expo station, following all health and safety regulations
  • provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during service, such as incorrect orders or delays
