Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
  • The expo may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures as well as potentially slippery surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling

Job Duties

  • Monitor and coordinate the preparation and delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Inspect dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation guidelines before they are served to guests
  • Verify that each order is complete and correct including any special requests or dietary restrictions
  • Act as a liaison between the back-of-house and front-of-house communicating any delays changes or issues with orders
  • Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed including running food clearing plates and restocking supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo station following all health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during service such as incorrect orders or delays
