Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- The expo may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures as well as potentially slippery surfaces
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling
Job Duties
- Monitor and coordinate the preparation and delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area ensuring timely and accurate service
- Inspect dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation guidelines before they are served to guests
- Verify that each order is complete and correct including any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Act as a liaison between the back-of-house and front-of-house communicating any delays changes or issues with orders
- Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed including running food clearing plates and restocking supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized expo station following all health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during service such as incorrect orders or delays
