Job Duties
- approach each guest interaction with the mindset of exceeding guest expectations
- embrace the culture personifying it in daily interactions with guests and associates alike
- help create an energized bar experience through friendly and personalized service
- assist with the organization and cleanliness of the bar/restaurant operation
- clean dishes, glassware and silver as needed
- sweep, mop and wipe restaurant and bar area as needed
- stock product as needed
- take pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel assuring cleanliness and conditions of the bar and surroundings are at their peak at all times
- work a flexible schedule, including shift work, evenings, and weekends
- regularly lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 50-lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- organize and run cold/hot food from multiple areas in a timely and efficient manner
- assist servers and management bus, clear, sanitize and reset tables for service
- stock and keep designated expo and bussing areas free of debris and clutter
- assist guests with any and all needs as requested within the scope of availability
- complete running side work, and closing duties as defined by a supervisor or manager
- load food trays, running if necessary
- communicate with cooks and servers regarding food modifications or special needs and allergies
- verify all food items on tray for ticket
- ensure the integrity of stored food items on the expo station
- communicate orders and information between front of house and back of house
- assure food quality, temperature, and presentation, garnish if needed
- assure timely arrival of food to the guests
- possess a complete understanding and knowledge of all food offerings
- be engaging with guests while presenting food items
