Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior labor-intensive work experience preferred
  • excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • attention to cleanliness and safety
  • must be able to speak and understand mostly English
  • frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear
  • occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 50lbs
  • specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • ability to stand during the entire 8-hour shift

Job Duties

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately
  • communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure timely service
  • keep all work areas clean and properly stocked
  • keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards
  • break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area according to established standards
  • assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side-work checklist
