Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age with proof of authorization and eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills in English both oral and written
  • Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
  • Consistent adherence to customer service standards
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to access all areas of the property and to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors exposed to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and smoke
  • Ability to stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and politeness
  • Must be able to work well with others and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year previous work experience in a comparable position in fine-dining or high-volume food and beverage establishments strongly preferred
  • Basic food and service knowledge
  • Knowledge of fine dining cuisine is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment while maintaining physical stamina and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well with others and receive direction
  • Must be able to qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required

Job Duties

  • Arrives for shift on time and in proper uniform
  • Delivers food from the kitchen to the guest
  • Ensures the guest's needs are met by verifying orders and explaining food items
  • Ensures all areas are kept clean
  • Provides refills on all non-alcoholic beverages
  • Properly uses equipment and complies with company safety standards
  • Develops working knowledge of PGCB rules and internal controls
  • Completes all paperwork according to PGCB and Wind Creek standards
  • Reads and understands Wind Creek's Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan
  • Provides superior customer service in compliance with company standards
  • Adheres to departmental and property policies and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
