Job Requirements
- 18 years of age
- proof of authorization and eligibility to work in the United States
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
- interpersonal skills focused on guest needs
- maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
- maintain consistent adherence to Wind Creek’s customer service standards
- must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- one year previous work experience in a comparable position preferred
- basic food and service knowledge
- knowledge of fine dining cuisine is a plus
- ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
- physical ability to access all property areas
- ability to endure prolonged physical activity
- ability to work in fast-paced and stressful environment
- ability to lift or carry minimum 50 pounds unassisted
- ability to work well with others and communicate
- maintain positive attitude and polite manner
- address stressful situations tactfully
- must qualify for Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year previous work experience in a comparable position in a fine-dining restaurant or high volume food and beverage establishment strongly preferred
- basic food and service knowledge
- knowledge of fine dining cuisine is a plus
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
- physical ability to access all areas of the property
- ability to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions
- ability to work in a fast-paced and somewhat stressful environment
- ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
- ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
- maintains a positive attitude and polite manner toward guests
- able to address stressful situations with dignity and tact
- must be able to qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required
Job Duties
- Arrives for shift on time and in proper uniform
- delivers food from the kitchen to the guest
- ensures the guest’s needs are met by confirming orders are correct and explaining food items to the guest
- ensures all areas are kept clean
- provides refills on all non-alcoholic beverages
- properly uses equipment, tools or systems to complete assigned tasks and complies with company safety standards
- develops a working knowledge of applicable PGCB rules, regulations and Internal Controls
- completes all paperwork in accordance with PGCB and approved Wind Creek standards
- reads and understands Wind Creek’s Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan regarding service regulations
- provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers
- adheres to and complies with departmental and overall property policies and procedures
- performs any other related duties as assigned
