Job Requirements

  • Prior food runner experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and staff
  • Ability to comprehend recipes and menus
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Knowledge of company and department rules, policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • SNHD Health Card

Job Duties

  • Inspect and place food and non-food products delivered from warehouse in designated areas in the kitchen, label food products as needed
  • Pick up food ordered on a daily basis from Garde Manger, Main Kitchen, Butcher Shop
  • Maintain the highest level of kitchen cleanliness and organization, following Health Department rules and regulations including product rotation, labeling, monitoring temperature logs from freezer and coolers
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
  • Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all customers and staff
  • Perform related work as requested
