Job Requirements
- At least 6 months kitchen experience in a high volume establishment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Well-groomed appearance
- Sense of urgency and adaptability to changing business demands
- Ability to uphold high integrity and compliance with regulated business standards
Job Duties
- Responsible for providing quality food and service to Harrah's guests
- Assists by ensuring hot food from the kitchen is immediately served to guests
- Ensures all plate presentations meet guidelines for portion, condiments, and plate ware
- Prioritizes hot food waiting in the kitchen window to be served
- Greets and serves meals to customers ensuring a pleasant dining experience
- Familiar with all steps of service servers provide when serving food
- Observes all sanitary and safety requirements
- Maintains cleanliness, proper presentation and temperature of food
- Ensures consistent flow of food from kitchen to guest in a healthy and sanitary manner
- Adheres to departmental and company policies
- Assists with expediting food orders during slow periods
- Acts as a role model presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encouraging others
