Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in hospitality or related role a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Adaptability to noisy environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or similar hospitality role a plus
  • General knowledge of banquet operations a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to club standards and procedures
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist servers
  • Ensure all service stations in the kitchen are stocked and ready for service
  • Promptly deliver plated hot food from kitchen to guests
  • Match all food items to correct orders
  • Carry food trays to tables using correct seat positions
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations and kitchen floors
  • Ensure availability of bread, soup, and other food products
  • Assemble and label 'to go' orders correctly
  • Wipe spills or drips on dish rims and ensure plate presentation consistency
  • Assist in clearing soiled dishes, filling waters, and setting the dining room
  • Break down and clean service stations at shift end
  • Report complaints to manager on duty
  • Open meeting rooms and function areas prior to events
  • Empty trash from meeting and function areas
  • Verify banquet functions are set according to specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of banquet public areas
  • Properly store equipment and materials
  • Keep storerooms and equipment areas clean and orderly
  • Set up indoor meeting and outdoor banquet areas including tables, chairs, glasses, and china
  • Inspect equipment for defects or maintenance needs and report them
  • Set lighting, props, floral arrangements, and decorations as specified
  • Prepare coffee breaks per food and beverage standards
  • Retrieve and return function linens
  • Prepare banquet functions for the following day
  • Perform other duties as assigned
