Job Requirements
- Complete open availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Must be part of union Local 30 and comply with union requirements
- Comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary week to week
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work in an outdoor environment including al fresco dining areas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Job Duties
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including serving beverages, breads, transporting meals
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
