Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for cleaning and organizing

Job Duties

  • Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area promptly and accurately
  • Double-check orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
  • Assist in delivering food to guests when necessary
  • Serve food with attention to detail ensuring proper plating and garnish
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Help prioritize and expedite orders during peak hours
  • Assist servers in replenishing drinks and condiments
  • Work alongside bussers to maintain cleanliness
  • Clear empty plates and utensils from tables
  • Help maintain the organization of the dining area
  • Remove unused items to keep tables tidy
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling
  • Handle food deliveries carefully to avoid spillage
  • Regularly clean trays and carts
  • Assist kitchen staff in organizing food items
  • Ensure correct labeling and preparation of food
  • Relay special guest requests or order changes to kitchen staff
