Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry is desirable
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk extensively during shifts
  • Must be able to lift and carry moderate weight
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations
  • Must be 21 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in full-service restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain professional composure under pressure and time constraints
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task including expedited food orders and presentation
  • Professional interpersonal communication skills with co-workers, guests, and managers
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to support multiple managers and employees with tasks and support as directed
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and beverage to quickly and efficiently
  • Provide positive, professional, polite guest service to all employees and guests
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
  • Maintain knowledge of all ingredient details of every dish on the menu to answer guest questions
  • Constantly read food tickets and communicate appropriate information to the kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations by clearly communicating standards and procedures to all staff
  • Ensure alcoholic beverages are only served to guests 21 and older in accordance with local, state, federal guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized back of house area for the food and beverage operation
  • Assist with set-up, maintenance, and teardown of events as directed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation
