Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- ability to read and follow recipes and procedures
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry items such as trays or dishes
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Ensure quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner
- prepare and assemble food orders quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste
- maintain a stocked, neat, clean, and safe line
- carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply areas to tables
- read tickets and prepare food items following standard recipes within specified time limits
- prepare recipes and plate presentations correctly
- pass out food dishes to guests by seat number
- locate items requested by guests
- prepare assigned food items
- wash and clean raw food products
- peel, dice, shred, and slice food products used for garnishments
- clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash
- serve food to guests when servers need assistance
- maintain adequate supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays
- clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas
- mop or vacuum floors
- stock garnishments, condiments, and other items on expo
- respond to guest requests and communicate these to servers
- attend scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support restaurant operations
- fill in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
