Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to perform heavy lifting related to trays of food and beverages
  • ability to work a varying schedule including nights and weekends
  • physical stamina to be on feet 98 percent of the time
  • capacity to handle and lift up to 25 pounds as needed

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in a restaurant environment
  • some serving experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and beverage items for guest recommendations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • attention to detail in food presentation and service
  • customer service oriented

Job Duties

  • Transporting food from the kitchen to guest tables in a timely manner as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
  • checking orders for correctness and presentation before serving items to guests
  • coordinating with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food
  • ensuring the food is served at the correct temperature and meets quality standards
  • addressing minor guest inquiries or requests related to their orders such as dietary needs or additional items
  • keeping the service area by the food window stocked with necessary items like steak knives and condiments
  • taking pride in getting to know guests and offering knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage items
