Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
- knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- ability to make quick and accurate decisions
- strong organizational skills
- ability to perform under pressure for extended periods while maintaining professionalism
- ability to transport meals safely to guest areas
Job Duties
- Transports food items from the kitchen to the pool and serves the items ordered to guests following proper steps of service
- maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following restaurant, OSHA, and Department of Health standards
- fills out and delivers requisitions of supplies and food items for the expediter
- picks up requisitions from Purchasing and stores products in designated areas
- labels all products and rotates items to ensure freshness
- maintains up to date knowledge of menu items and final presentation steps
- performs general routine cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products
- keeps floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents
- performs other duties as requested by manager
