Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year experience in upscale restaurant, hotel/resort, or private club preferred
  • certification in liquor, wine, and food service including Alcohol Awareness preferred
  • ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance
  • strong multitasking and communication skills
  • must meet minimum age requirements and comply with responsible alcohol service standards
  • physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and perform other movements for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Always address guests by name, observe and respond to requests, and ensure service is complete
  • assist servers with presenting menus, answering questions, and making suggestions about food and beverage service
  • prepare baskets with condiments and sides, confirm orders are accurate and presentable, and serve to guests with a smile
  • monitor supplies, maintain stock, and keep kitchen/café areas clean and orderly
  • assist servers in keeping service areas tidy, collect and maintain baskets, and relay kitchen times to servers/management
  • stay informed about the menu, drinks, specials, and unavailable items
  • complete daily/weekly checklists and perform other duties as assigned
