Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to carry trays of food
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Presents self in courteous and professional manner to guests at all times
  • Checks orders for accuracy prior to serving to ensure food items are as guests ordered (sides, extras, etc.)
  • Delivers food orders with appropriate garnishments
  • Delivers food orders timely and, where multiple guests involved, at the same time
  • Communicates important information to guests (example: hot plate) and servers (example: guest seeking drink from bar)
  • Responds to guests' requests for condiments or other items
  • Continually clears away dishes and debris from stations
  • Has knowledge of table numbers and the physical layout of the restaurant to ensure prompt and proper service to guests
  • Brings guests' inquiries regarding food allergies to the Manager's attention immediately
  • Ensures station is suitable for serving and meets company standards
