Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Frequently required to bend or stoop and lift up to 25 pounds including overhead lifting
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Skills in managing one's own time and the time of others
- Ability to listen attentively, ask appropriate questions, and adjust actions in relation to others
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times
- Set up and break down of assigned work stations and maintaining its cleanliness
- Keep station full at all times, especially during peak business times
- Inform customers of the ingredients when asked
- Cover cashiers on breaks and take guests’ orders
- Answer questions about food items, making recommendations upon request
- Remove customers’ dirty dishes from tables during the course of their meal using trays
- Assist hosts with seating guests if necessary
- Reset tables after they have been cleared
- Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas for the next shift or large parties
- Accurately and appropriately set up banquet functions
- Clean up after banquet functions including moving chairs, tearing down tables, and removing dirty dishes and linen
- Efficiently serve all food and beverage items for banquet functions as directed including plated and buffet dining and bar items
- Know customer alcohol limitations and company policy regarding them
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities and assist as needed
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and empower others to do the same
- Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Build guest relations by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, inviting them back
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by management
- Ensure operating principles are adhered to: clean, safe, friendly, and fun
- Use tools like serving trays, bus tubs, food and dish carts, beverage dispensers, cleaning materials, wet mops, and brooms
