- basic knowledge of menu items and allergens
Job Duties
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area
- verify that all food items meet quality standards and presentation specifications
- organize and manage tickets to ensure orders are delivered to correct tables
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- maintain a clean and organized expo station including managing plates, utensils, and condiments
- report equipment problems, safety hazards, and unsafe practices to supervisor
- comprehensive knowledge of menu items and allergens to assist servers and guests
- deliver food orders to tables
- assist servers with clearing and resetting tables
- address guest concerns professionally
- perform routine cleaning in kitchen areas including wiping surfaces and cleaning utensils
- ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly
- follow health and safety regulations
- sweep and mop expo work areas
- return items from dining areas to proper kitchen or storage locations
- monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages
- assist in organizing and restocking supplies
- perform all other duties as assigned by leadership
