Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
  • Ability to communicate in English

Job Duties

  • Ensure communication in the kitchen between the front of house and back of house teams by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the waitstaff to serve completed dishes
  • Ensure that all orders are completed accurately, in time, and with the correct priority
  • Perform the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges
  • Assist servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience, taking orders and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner
  • Relate with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings
  • Ensure that the expediting area and restaurant outlets are tidy, organized, and well stocked at all times
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
  • Check in with guests upon delivery of dishes and ensure they have everything they need, as needed
