Job Requirements
- At least 6 months kitchen experience in a high volume establishment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to maneuver throughout assigned restaurant areas during entire shift
- Must be able to lift trays and bus tubs with heavy items at shoulder level
- Must be able to clean tables in a timely fashion
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and reach across tables
- Must be able to push or pull 300 pounds on a cart or dolly
- Must be able to stoop and bend as necessary
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and under stressful situations
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time

- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation
- Ability to work well with co-workers as a team member
- Well-groomed appearance

Job Duties
- Provide quality food and service to guests
- Ensure hot food from the kitchen is immediately served to guests
- Ensure all plate presentations meet guidelines for portion, condiments, and plate ware
- Prioritize hot food at the kitchen window waiting to be served
- Greet and serve meals to customers ensuring a pleasant dining experience
- Be familiar with all steps of service servers provide
- Observe sanitary and safety requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation and temperature of food
- Ensure consistent flow of food from kitchen to guest in a healthy and sanitary manner
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
- Assist with expediting food orders during slow periods
- Act as a role model to other employees and present oneself as a credit to Harrah's
- Other duties as assigned
