Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Be accountable to the Company and Restaurant Managers
  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers
  • Maintain a professional company image by adhering to grooming and uniform guidelines including slip-resistant shoes
  • Set and prepare tables for dining including folding napkins, cleaning, and placing tableware
  • Clear and sanitize tables and chairs immediately after guests leave using approved methods and chemicals
  • Take dishware and glassware to appropriate areas for sorting and washing
  • Assist servers and bartenders with table service, serving beverages and breads where allowed
  • Support food runners, hosts, servers, bartenders, and expeditors when needed
  • Communicate with server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas using correct cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment according to OSHA regulations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
  • Be compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including those relating to food safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned
