Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • at least 6 months of experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs
  • availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • physically able to stand and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • familiarity with hospitality industry preferably
  • knowledge of food and beverage service principles
  • ability to handle physical tasks involving lifting up to 30 lbs
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong attention to detail and service orientation
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Know the menu, providing guidance with menu offerings and responding knowledgeably to questions
  • deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • record the details of the order from the guest, repeating the order to check for accuracy
  • input the order into the point of sale computer to inform the kitchen
  • retrieve orders up to 30 lbs. from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests with condiments
  • replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for satisfaction
  • set up trays and carts ensuring all dishes present well and match the order
  • arrange settings according to guests’ pleasure and present the check for signature
  • ensure room service carts and trays are clean and neatly stacked
  • complete closing side duties
