Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
  • ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • must be punctual and reliable
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capable of lifting moderately heavy items
  • pass required training modules
  • maintain professional appearance and uniform standards

Job Duties

  • complete and pass required training modules
  • know your work schedule and arrive on time
  • communicate with manager about reservations and guest flow
  • set up station and dining room according to standard procedures
  • maintain an assigned dining room section and assist other sections as needed
  • bake and serve bread and butter
  • keep water glasses filled and maintain tables
  • package and deliver take-home items
  • thank guests and invite them to return
  • bus, set, and reset tables
  • perform side duties, closing duties, and other manager-assigned tasks
  • maintain clean service stations
  • provide basic information to guests about Eddie Merlot's
  • follow policies related to liquor, food handling, sanitation, and safety
  • communicate guest requests and complaints to managers
  • work meetings, banquets, and special events as scheduled
  • assist team members with station duties and sidework
