Job Requirements

  • Applicants must be 16 years or older
  • able to pass City of Boise background check including criminal history and reference checks
  • able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally
  • able to push and pull up to 35 pounds occasionally
  • able to stand walk stoop kneel crouch crawl reach grasp climb and balance
  • possess hand finger dexterity
  • able to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • able to perform sensory abilities including talk hear smell and touch
  • able to maintain vision abilities including close peripheral and depth perception

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant roles such as food expeditor prep cook or similar
  • ability to interact with customers and participants tactfully
  • provide high-level customer service
  • complete assignments timely
  • understand and comply with rules policies and regulations
  • maintain prompt and regular attendance
  • communicate effectively in English
  • perform essential and marginal functions as assigned

Job Duties

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • double-check orders for correctness and presentation according to restaurant standards before delivery
  • serve as liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff communicating issues delays or special requests
  • assist kitchen staff with garnishing dishes preparing sides and restocking supplies during peak hours
  • maintain cleanliness and organization by clearing and resetting tables
  • assist in setting up tables with condiments utensils and napkins before food delivery
  • perform other duties as assigned
