Job Requirements

  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • flexibility to assist as food runner and busser
  • willingness to complete training and certification if required

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 16 years of age
  • previous experience in a restaurant or customer-facing role is a plus but not required
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to assist with food running and bussing tables as needed
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • must be able to stand and move quickly for extended periods
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • on-the-job training will be provided
  • Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location

Job Duties

  • greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • manage reservations and seat guests promptly according to seating availability and server rotation
  • maintain an accurate waitlist during busy periods, providing guests with estimated wait times and clear communication
  • answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and take reservations or to-go orders as needed
  • monitor dining room activity to ensure smooth flow of service and assist with coordinating table turnover
  • deliver food to tables accurately and efficiently when assisting as a food runner
  • clear and reset tables including removing dishes, wiping surfaces, and preparing tables for new guests as a busser
  • collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
  • provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs or concerns and escalating issues to leadership when necessary
  • assist with light cleaning tasks during downtime
  • perform additional tasks as directed by leadership to support restaurant operations
