Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year server assistance experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- San Diego County Food Handlers Card obtained within 30 days of employment
- Serve safe certificate preferred
- Completion of anti-harassment and nondiscrimination 1-hour class
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
- Ability to bend, stoop and climb
- Ability to push and pull

Job Duties
- Work with servers to create great energy and atmosphere
- Greet each guest with a positive attitude and a smile
- Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
- Run food to tables, ensuring guests receive the correct order
- Handle food promptly to maintain optimal temperature
- Understand and follow proper food handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and their ingredients
- Fill water glasses as needed
- Clear empty plates and utensils after guests are finished
- Wipe down and sanitize tables
- Keep restaurant well stocked with supplies
- Assist with dishwashing during busy times
- Exhibit excellent customer service and handle issues professionally
