Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Possess a high school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to California regulations
  • One year related culinary or food service work preferred
  • Must be sanitation certified
  • Must acquire certification of ServSafe or a State recognized Food safety program for Managers
  • Must be licensed to serve alcohol
  • Must be able to read speak and write English

Job Duties

  • Familiarizes with service standards for the restaurant especially table setups beverage service and pre-busing of tables
  • Cleans restaurant floors carpet service stations etc
  • Monitors and ensures cleanliness of all place settings tabletops seats and floor
  • Leaves money or guest checks on tables
  • Performs customer service duties as assigned such as beverage and plate service
  • Communicates with host or hostess for seating needs and any guest service issues
  • Cleans and resets tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • Performs various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies
  • Restocks and maintains all food and beverage items products and supplies
  • Provides outstanding customer and employee service at all times
  • Complies with all department and company rules regulations policies procedures internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • Performs all duties in a safe and careful manner
  • Assists Food Servers as necessary
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Must always present a neat and clean appearance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
