Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years old
  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • have the ability to obtain appropriate license pursuant to California regulations
  • one year related culinary or food service work preferred
  • must be sanitation certified
  • must acquire certification of ServSafe or state recognized food safety program
  • must be licensed to serve alcohol
  • must be able to read, speak and write English

Job Duties

  • deliver food and beverages according to company standards
  • maintain all food and beverage products and supplies
  • clear and set tables in designated station
  • familiarize with service standards for the restaurant including table setups and pre-busing
  • clean restaurant floors, carpets, service stations
  • monitor cleanliness of place settings, tabletops, seats, and floors
  • leave money or guest checks on tables
  • perform customer service duties such as beverage and plate service
  • communicate with host or hostess for seating needs and guest issues
  • clean and reset tables following established procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • perform stock supply duties to maintain par levels of equipment and dining supplies
  • restock and maintain food and beverage items and supplies
  • provide outstanding customer and employee service
  • comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations
  • perform all duties safely and carefully
  • assist food servers as necessary
  • attend periodic meetings and training sessions
  • maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • perform other duties as assigned
