Job Requirements

Experience in food service preferred

Ability to work efficiently and with urgency
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally
Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting and standing for long periods
Must attend all scheduled meetings

Must be available to work flexible shifts
Must adhere to sanitary food handling guidelines

Must perform physical activities such as cleaning, climbing, lifting, walking, balancing and handling materials
Must be able to stand for long periods

Must use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and alternatives
Must be able to speak and write effectively in English
Must be flexible including occasionally working overtime and assisting with others' workloads

Job Duties

Support servers and serve as liaison between kitchen, servers and guests
Deliver food from kitchen to appropriate server and assist server with delivery of food to guests
Work with expeditor to ensure efficient delivery of food based on restaurant layout
Perform food preparation duties when needed
Follow all Chickies & Petes service standards
Check food for quality and presentation before serving
Ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
Deliver to-go orders to Host/Hostess stand for guest pick up
Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
Respond appropriately to guest requests, comments and complaints and bring any issues to the attention of a manager
Complete beginning, change and end of shift side duties
Work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
Provide garnish for specified menu items according to Menu Build
Assist in keeping work areas clean
Attend all scheduled employee meetings
Additional tasks as assigned
