Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to stand and walk for long hours
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to carry multiple plates safely
Willingness to assist team members and perform multitasking
Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
Ability to memorize menu items and details
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Team-oriented attitude
Physical ability to carry plates and walk for extended periods
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus

Job Duties

Primarily serve food to tables including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
Cordially present the food to guests with a smile
Know table and seat numbers to execute a seamless delivery
Maintain knowledge of the food menus to describe ingredients to guests and answer inquiries as needed
Comfortably carry three plates and walk with a tray while asking for help if necessary
Work with other food runners, management, servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders to create a seamless and memorable dining experience
Work with purpose by expediting food, watering tables, pre-bussing tables, maintaining restaurant appearance, helping fellow employees, and completing additional assigned tasks
Maintain a clean workstation area throughout the shift
Attend educational and developmental sessions as required
