Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to carry trays and lift heavy items as needed
- Adherence to the restaurant’s dress code and hygiene standards
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not always required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately
- Ensure that orders are delivered in the correct sequence and to the right table
- Check that all items on the order are present and meet quality standards before delivery
- Verify that special requests and dietary restrictions are accurately addressed
- Greet guests warmly and professionally when delivering food
- Address any immediate concerns or issues with orders promptly and courteously
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
- Work closely with servers to manage the flow of food and ensure smooth service
- Keep food running stations and service areas clean and organized
- Ensure that dishes, utensils, and other service items are properly handled and cleaned
- Assist servers with additional tasks such as refilling beverages, clearing tables, or resetting tables as needed
- Accommodate special requests from guests and relay them to the kitchen or service staff as required
- Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the supervisor or kitchen staff
