Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a customer service role
- Ability to work part-time hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 25 lbs frequently
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Must adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Qualifications
- Previous front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
- Prior experience requiring excellent customer service service recovery and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing guest needs
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers throughout the restaurant
- Possess a passion for hospitality and love of the food and beverage industry
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- Requires frequent bending reaching overhead and twisting
- Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or entire work shift
Job Duties
- Provide courteous prompt service to guests
- Ensure correct menu items are delivered timely to guests
- Adhere to Emmy's Steps of Service
- Clear items from tables promptly to maintain organized dining experience
- Communicate guest requests and handle guest needs effectively
- Maintain a clean and presentable work environment
- Maintain a positive outgoing demeanor during service
- Be safety conscious at all times
- Adhere to company policy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
