Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a fast pace while ensuring attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical capability to carry moderate weight up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- 1 year of food runner or related restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
- Developed English language skills
- Walking or standing to a significant degree
Job Duties
- Delivers the correct food to guests and describes the dish while setting it down
- Ensure all guest needs are met upon food delivery and offers additional services
- Acts as contact point between Front of House and Back of House teams
- Assist the serving staff with table setting by clearing extra place settings, removing soiled china, glass and silverware
- Stocks and restocks all glass, china, silver, etc. for service
- Assists servers with all opening and closing duties
- Takes direction from servers and or host/hostess when necessary
- Refers communication, guest feedback, and any potential guest dissatisfaction to the Restaurant Manager
- Assists servers in other service components, such as wine service
