Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent or current enrollment
  • previous server, expo, busser, waiter, or cashier experience strongly desired
  • interpersonal skills
  • verbal skills
  • ability to bend, read, walk, carry 50 lbs, reach, prioritize, hear, twist, work with little supervision, lift 50 lbs, have sight or peripheral vision, grasp, operate equipment, communicate verbally, and stand up to 8 hours

  • previous experience as server, expo, busser, waiter, or cashier strongly desired
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • effective verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain, clean, and sanitize cafe area continually
  • maintain restrooms and complete hourly restroom checklist
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room and surrounding areas
  • clear tables quickly and quietly and take dishes to dish area
  • reset tables and stock caddies
  • ensure guest expectations are met or exceeded
  • follow directions for setting up and breaking down rooms and stages
  • deliver food and drinks to tables accurately
  • maintain and stock water station
  • pre-bus plates and glassware
  • maintain proper flow within dining area
  • assist guests as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
