Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service hospitality or related fields preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service restaurant or hospitality environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper serving techniques
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Experience with banquet service bussing or kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and guests
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Basic culinary knowledge or hotel experience can enhance performance in this role

Job Duties

  • Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
  • Assist servers with clearing dishes refilling beverages and resetting tables as needed
  • Ensure all food items are correctly plated and labeled before delivery
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas including side stations and dining spaces
  • Support the culinary team with basic food handling and preparation tasks when required
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Provide excellent guest service by being attentive courteous and responsive to guest needs
